EDGEWOOD, Md. - Harford County authorities turned to the public for help Tuesday to solve an early morning burglary that turned into a sexual assault.
A 34-year-old woman living in the 1700 block of Crimson Tree Way in Edgewood was attacked by a burglar.
She found the man dressed in all black going through her purse in her dining room at about 5:10 a.m. He grabbed her, hit her in the face and began to sexually assault her. No other description of the burglar was provided.
The woman suffered some injuries, but declined medical treatment.

Detectives are seeking any information to help identify the suspect or anyone who may have observed suspicious activity in the area.
