EDGEWOOD, Md. -
A woman was shot by her brother Saturday night and now police are looking for the man they consider armed and dangerous.
Police said 20-year-old Keef Devon Alfonso Burley shot his sister Doneshia Burley, 18, in the back after a family argument. He and his mother and sister had been arguing throughout the evening. As his mother and sister were forcing him out the front door he pulled a gun and shot through the door hitting his sister in the back.
EMS units from Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company responded and transported her to Johns Hopkins Bayview for treatment. Police said her condition is unknown, but believe her wounds are not life threatening.
Police are obtaining arrest warrants and are currently searching for Keef Burley who they say should be considered armed and dangerous.
