Aberdeen Police Officers were called to the Frito Lay Warehouse after a report of a bomb threat.

The call came in just after midnight on August 19, when a manager said a woman called the warehouse. The building was immediately evacuated and the fire department, as well as police canines, came to the scene to investigate.

After a thorough search through the building, no bomb was found. The search took over two hours and required multiple officers before it was deemed safe.

With all of the resources that were used, police want to remind people that this should not be viewed as a 'prank' or a 'joke', but as a criminal act.

After an investigation, officers found that the call was made from a payphone at the Shell gas station at 1026 Middleton Road in Aberdeen.

Video surveillance shows a gold SUV was parked in front of the payphone around the same time that the bomb threat was made.

Anyone with information about the call should call Sgt. Shannon Persuhn of the Aberdeen Police Department at 410-272-2121.
