An argument leads to a man setting himself on fire on the side of the road.

This happened in Centreville on September 19. The Queen Anne's County Sheriff's department received calls for a car on fire at John Brown Road and Maryland Route 213. As they were driving there, they heard reports that it was a man who lit himself on fire.

Deputies say Jamie Richarts, 35, and Deny Coursey, 42, were involved in an argument. Richarts says Coursey cut off her car, forcing her to pull off the road. He got out of his car and walked toward Coursey with a can of gasoline in his hand.

After a short argument outside the car, Coursey doused himself in the gasoline and lit himself on fire. Sheriff's deputies found him later at Easton Memorial Hospital with numerous burns.

No word if any charges will be filed.
