Man injured in Ocean City fight dies

A Baltimore County man injured in a fight over Memorial Day weekend in Ocean City has died, Ocean City Police said.

Ryan M. Shupert, 31, of Lutherville-Timonium, died Tuesday as the result of his injuries.

Police said the fight happened Sunday around 2:30 a.m. at 136th Street and Coastal Highway. Police said Shupert and his friend were involved in a fight with four other men. Police did not say whether the man's friend was injured.

His death has been ruled a homicide by the Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

Police are continuing to investigate the assault, and are looking for four suspects believed to be from the Baltimore area, all white males in their 20s.

One suspect is about 6' to 6'1, weighing about 200 pounds with dark, curly hair parted to the side and gel in his hair.  He was wearing glasses before the altercation occurred and a red shirt.

Another has has short reddish brown hair with extensive tattoos on both his arms and neck. He was wearing a white T-shirt at the time of the assault.
