$2k reward offered in UMES student's death

A reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in the murder of a UMES student.

Officials are still working to identify those responsible for the death of 21-year-old Edmond A. St. Clair of Severn, Maryland.

St. Clair died Saturday from injuries he received during an altercation with three people on the Somerset County campus near the pavilion on College Backbone Road.

According to a witness, the altercation began when the car St. Clair was in encountered three to four people walking in the street. Investigators say St. Clair was stabbed with an unidentified weapon.
