Maryland State Police have arrested a Cecil County man on charges of child pornography.
Saul Hansen, 33, of Elkton, MD was charged with counts of possession of child pornography and two counts of distribution of child pornography.
Hansen was named a suspect around 9:30 a.m. Friday morning as a result of a previous investigation conducted earlier this year by the Maryland Internet Crimes against Children Task Force.
A search warrant for the suspect's residence yielded in the recovery of various digital media storage devices, that will be submitted to state police's Digital Forensics lab for analysis.
The task force is comprised of police agencies from around the state and its primary mission is to protect children from computer-facilitated sexual exploitation.
