Police arrest three men in Mount Airy armed robbery

MOUNT AIRY, Md. - Maryland State Police arrested at least three people following an armed robbery Tuesday in Mount Airy.

Police said troopers from responded to the 2000 block of Fieldbrook Lane for a report of an armed robbery.

The victim told police that he was expecting to meet up with a friend. When his friend arrived, he noticed three additional people in the vehicle.  During the investigation the three people were identified at Daniel James Seek, Malcom Parviz Jahandideh and Samuel Francis Miller.

Seek drove everyone to the M&T Bank in Mount Airy so the victim could cash his check.  As the victim went into the bank to cash the check Seek, Jahandideh, and Miller decided to rob the victim of his money, police said.

When the victim got back into the vehicle they drove to the High's Store on Twin Arch Road to buy cigarettes.  When the victim got back in the vehicle, Jahandideh pulled out a folding knife and held against the victim and demanded the money. 

The suspects told the victim that he was going to get beat up, if they didn't get his money.  Police said the victim complied and gave the suspect his money.  The suspects ordered the victim out of the vehicle and he ran away.

The victim walked home and called the police.  Police located the suspects in Frederick, arrested them and took them to the Carroll County Detention Center for processing.
