Man gets 3 years for supermarket killing

The man convicted of the murder of his roommate in a Carroll County supermarket has been sentenced to serve 3 years in prison.
Zamani Lawson was sentenced to 10 years in prison with 7 years suspended followed by 5 years of supervised probation.
Lawson pled guilty in January to the June 2012 death of his  roommate and co-worker Bergari Zardiashuili.  Zardiashuili was stabbed to death at the Martin's Supermarket in Eldersburg.
Lawson was found standing near the store's entrance when officers arrived with what appeared to be blood on his shirt.
