The Carroll County Sheriff's Office has arrested and charged two suspects involved in a residential burglary and robbery earlier this month.
Police responded to the 300 block of Church St. in New Windsor for a residential burglary and robbery Feb. 16. Police learned that the homeowner found two suspect inside her house. The pair displayed a knife and took approximately $26 from the homeowner, held her inside for 30 minutes, then demanded her car keys. They then left the scene in the homeowner’s vehicle.
Courtney Lynn Maiuzzo, 20, was arrested Tuesday by Maryland State Police. When detectives interviewed Maiuzzo, they linked her and Thomas Edward Millender, 25, to the crime.
Maiuzzo was transported to Carroll County Central Booking and charged with burglary, assault and other related charges. She is currently being held at the county’s detention center on a $35,000 bail with additional charges pending.
Millender was charged today by Carroll County Sheriff's Office with armed robbery, assault, theft and other charges. Millender has yet to see a judge for a bail review hearing.
