WANTED: Attempted murder suspect from Dundalk barricade

Baltimore County police are searching for an attempted murder suspect who caused a barricade situation in Dundalk Wednesday. 

Police attempted to serve a warrant for attempted murder to Michael Staudt, 26, Wednesday morning. As a precautionary measure, police closed South North Point Road between Eastern and Carson avenues because the suspect is known to carry weapons. The road remained closed for six hours as police attempted to locate Staudt, but were unable to find him.

Staudt is wanted for attempted murder. Police have identified him as one of two suspects in an attempted murder Saturday, May 20. 

If you Staudt, police ask you call 911, do not approach him, they say he is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about Staudt's whereabouts is asked to contact police at 410-887-7309.
