Verbal altercation between residents leaves two injured

A verbal altercation between residents and nonresidents lead to one person shot and another injured, according to Baltimore County Police.

Police responded to the area of Liberty Parkway and Dunmanway at 10:41 p.m. where they found a 26-year-old male victim with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.

Officers were led to the 2900 block of Cornwall Road, blocks from the male victim, where they discovered a female who was struck by a gun but not shot.

County police learned the incident occurred outside a home in the 2900 block of Cornwall Road after a verbal altercation between residents and nonresidents escalated.
 
The male victim was shot there and fled to the area of Liberty Parkway and Dunmanway, where he collapsed. 
 
The male victim is expected to survive his injuries and the female is doing well, police say.
 
Police have no suspect information for either assault at this time.
