Two men sentenced for series of convenience store robberies

Two men, Monte Glascoe, 23, of Baltimore, and Gary Cordell Howard, 37, of Baltimore, plead guilty to armed robbery today, according to a release from the Department of Justice.

The duo robbed at least seven Baltimore County-area convenience stores in July 2013. In addition to taking money from the stores, the robbers took cigarettes, a folding knife, and a cell phone during their spree, according to authorities.

Monte Glascoe’s sentencing is set for Sept. 25 at 10 a.m. and Gary Howard’s sentencing is set for Aug 26 at 1 p.m., officials said.
