Towson University is investigating an unverified report of a shooting on campus.

The school tweeted just after 12:15 p.m. for people to seek shelter in place.

The school was holding a planned disaster exercise on campus starting this morning at 9 a.m., but we are being told this shooting report is unrelated.

Officials say a false caller indicated a victim was shot and found near the Glen Garage on campus.  Police found nothing at the spot.
