The man who shot and killed another man at Towson Town Mall during the height of the holiday shopping season has been sentenced to life in prison.
Tyrone Brown, 21, got life without the possibility of parole for the murder of Rodney Pridget on December 19, 2011. Brown followed Pridget through the mall and shot him six times just after he left the building. The killing was ordered by the Black Guerilla Family gang which is currently being scrutinized for corruption at the Baltimore City Detention Center.
William Ward, III and Frank Theodore Williams were previously convicted of first degree murder for their part orchestrating the murder. Each was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole.
Brown's sentence will run consecutive to a ten year sentence previously imposed in Baltimore City.
