Teen arrested, charged in Hot Skates stabbing

WOODLAWN, Md. - Police arrested and charged a 16-year-old in connection to a weekend stabbing at a roller skating rink.

According to police the stabbing happened outside of Hot Skates Roller Skating Center in the 1700 block of Whitehead Road around 11:40 Saturday night. Authorities said a juvenile female victim got into a fight with several people inside the skating rink and went outside to call a relative to pick her up. While outside,  a male suspect stabbed her several times.

A second victim, a 19-year-old male, was also stabbed. Both victims suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The 16-year-old suspect was arrested and charged as juvenile. He suffered a minor injuries.
