Charging documents reveal that a Randallstown woman’s estranged husband was served with a protective order, just days before she was found dead.

Baltimore County Police discovered the bodies of Chinika Hursey, and her boyfriend, Steven Scott Campbell, both 36, in the master bedroom of their home Monday morning on Bald Eagle Court.

Both were suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The suspect has been identified as 43-year-old Dominick Hursey.

According to charging documents, a friend of the estranged husband happened to drive by Chinika's home when he saw Hursey's pickup truck parked outside of the home.

The friend told police he was concerned, knowing Dominick and Chinika had problems stemming from a protective order. A police report said the friend approached the home and saw Hursey’s children sitting inside the truck.

The children told the friend that, “mommy and Steven are dead and daddy is inside.”

Dominick told the friend he was dropping off the kids', he and Chinika shared, overnight bags before they were going to be dropped off at school.

A protective order was issued on March 29 against Dominick Hursey after he was accused of 'grabbing Chinika by the wrists, throwing her against the car, grabbing her neck and threatening to kill her.'

Officers on the scene noticed that a chair had been removed from the home's front porch and placed beneath a family room window at the back of the house.

The window above the chair was open and the screen was removed.

Investigators found several bullet holes in the wall of the bedroom and blood splatter. The bullet casings were from a gun, police say, Dominick owned and that was used to kill Chinika and Steven.

Domick has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
