Police: Towson homicide not random

TOWSON, Md. - Baltimore County Police Department say a shooting in Towson Sunday that left a 27-year-old man dead was not a random act.

In a press release issued Tuesday, officials with the county police department shared that investigators found no no signs of forced entry into the apartment of Alsawab Sawab.

Sawab was found with multiple gunshots wounds at his home on the 7000 block of Lachlan Circle and transported to a local hospital where he later died. Police have released little information about the man other than he was not a Towson University Student.

The investigation remains open, and police have not yet identified a suspect. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Baltimore County Police Department at 410-307-2020.
