Baltimore City police sergeant arrested in prostitution sting

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. - A Baltimore City police sergeant is among four people arrested in a prostitution sting in Baltimore County.

County police conducted an investigation on Wednesday night with undercover detectives posting as prostitutes.

They arrested Kevin Lamont Simmons, 40. He is a sergeant with the Baltimore City Police Department.
County police say they notified the City police department about the arrest.

Also arrested were Edward Yuditsky, 42, Trevor William Joseph Barnes, 44 and Mark Kane, 48.

Simmons, Yuditsky and Barnes were all released on their own recognizance. Kane is also facing drug charges and is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $5,000 bail.
