5-year-old hurt in hit-and-run

UPDATE: Baltimore County police say they have identified a juvenile suspect. The suspect turned himself in Monday afternoon. The charges against the suspect are pending.

Crash Team investigators believe the suspect in this hit and run was driving a gold 1999 to 2000 GMC Yukon Danali.

The truck has damage to the right front grill and right front headlight area.

The five-year-old is still in the hospital in critical condition.

Baltimore County police released an updated description of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that injured a 5-year-old boy Saturday night.

Police said the suspect vehicle is a gold colored SUV or pickup truck with a cap on the back. The vehicle should have front end damage.

The five-year-old boy was hit just before 6:30 Saturday night as he was trying to cross South Marlyn Avenue near Deep Creek Middle School.  The vehicle fled the scene.

The boy was flown to Johns Hopkins Hospital by Maryland State Police Medivac helicopter in serious condition

The crash is under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Crash Team.
