Police officer attacked by two pit bulls in Parkville

A Baltimore County Police officer was attacked by two pit bulls this afternoon in Parkville.

It happened at 12:30 along Deanwood Road. The officer was responding to an animal complain call when he was attacked.

The dogs bit the officer multiple times after he stepped out of his police cruiser. The officer used pepper spray to fight the dogs off.

Police were able to capture one of the dogs, but the second is still on the loose. Officers are now looking for a white pit bull with an orange spot on its backside.

It was last seen in the area of California Avenue and Harford Road.

Police are warning anyone who sees the dog to stay away and call 911 immediately.
