ARBUTUS, Md. - Baltimore County Police were collecting information from car owners after 29 vehicles were broken into sometime Wednesday afternoon in Halethorpe.
According to Corporal John Wachter from the Baltimore County Police Department, officers were called at 5:10 p.m. to the 5700 block of Southwestern Boulevard for a car that had been broken into by way of the front passenger window.
When police arrived, they found a total of 29 vehicles had their passenger windows smashed and owners of the cars reported that items such as CDs, GPS units, and other personal belongings were stolen.
The approximate time the break-ins occurred were not immediately known.
Wachter said officers would remain on the scene taking information from each car owner before releasing additional information.
