Baltimore County Police have charged the Parkville woman who made a false report last week at Towson Town Center. Pamela Davis, of the unit block of Ashlar Hill Ct, has been charged on a summons with False Statement to Officer.

On November 14, officials say police arrived at the scene of a parking lot located across from the mall after a 46-year-old Parkville woman said she was a victim of an armed robbery and attempted carjacking.

The woman originally told police that she left the mall and saw two people 'lurking' among parked cars. She described them as two black men wearing black hooded sweatshirts with jeans and ski masks.

She told police that the two men wanted her car and believed that they had a handgun, she specified that she refused to give them her keys but gave her purse instead and they fled with it.

After further investigation on the incident, detectives were able to identify that the woman's recollection of the incident started to change.

Investigators then obtained the surveillance footage which showed that the woman drove in the lot and parked her car. They say she never left her vehicle before leaving the parking lot and calling the police.

Police say her motive for reporting the false crime is unknown.
