Police arrest two in Baltimore Co. machete attack

Baltimore County police have arrested and charged two individuals in a machete attack that took place Friday evening.

Police say that at around 6:45 p.m. Friday, they were called to the Food Lion parking lot on the 7500 block of North Point Road for an assault.

After investigating, police found that a man had been attacked by two men with a machete.  The victim suffered "a severe injury to the arm" and will undergo surgery at a local hospital.  He is expected to survive.

The two suspects were arrested and charged with first degree assault, among other related charges.

The identities of the victim and suspects have not yet been released.
