The attempted armed robbery happened on May 25 at the station in the 6300 block of Wabash Avenue. The woman was going up the escalator when she was approached by a man, who showed a handgun and said he was going to kill her if she did not give up her purse.

The woman yelled, and the man assaulted her.

He then left in a tan colored minivan. Before the incident, police said, the suspect and the victim boarded the same coach at Reisterstown Plaza Shopping Center.
