A man was shot in the back early Saturday morning by his daughter's boyfriend, according to Baltimore County Police.
The 49-year-old victim was driven to the hospital by family members where he was treated and released.
Police were called to the Emergency Room of Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson, where they learned the victim's daughter got into a verbal altercation with her 26-year-old boyfriend whom she lives with at Oakview Apartments in the 7200 block of Oak Haven Circle.
The daughter left then returned with her father, the victim., to retrieve her belongings. An argument began with the father and boyfriend, which ended with the boyfriend shooting the father in the back with a shotgun.
The police arrested the suspect shortly after. No one's identity has been revealed yet.
