A man has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with a fatal stabbing July 26 in Lochearn.
Brandon Jarvis Heigh, 26, is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
At 11:40 a.m. on July 26, police were called to the 4000 block of Villa Nova Road for a report of a stabbing. When officers arrived on the scene, they found Christopher Norris Jones, 36, suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was transported to the Sinai Trauma Center, where he died.
Police said Jones and Heigh had been involved in an ongoing dispute. Jones was walking on Villa Nova Road when he encountered Heigh and another man. During that encounter, Jones was stabbed multiple times.
Police don't know the other man's identity.
This incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit.
