Baltimore County Police charged a Windsor Mill man in connection with the murder of a woman reported missing six years ago.

On Feb. 19, 2010, Cherice Ragins, 24, left her home in the 3600 block of North Rogers Avenue to go to her boyfriend’s house in the 2500 block of Cheshaire Drive. Her mother reported her missing on Feb. 24 after Ragins never returned or contacted home.

Investigators believe her boyfriend, 30-year-old Travis Eugene Elleby, murdered Ragins and got rid of her body.

The case was presented to a Baltimore County Grand Jury last Wednesday, who indicted Elleby for first-degree murder. He’s being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

Cherice Ragins’ body was never found, police said.
