Police have arrested a man they say is responsible for a string of at least six convenience store robberies.

Mark Eugene Peters, 28, was taken into custody on June 9. He’s being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bail and has been charged with multiple counts of armed robbery in connection with four armed robbery incidents in Baltimore County.

From May 24 to June 4, Peters robbed four different Royal Farms stores in Baltimore County, police said.

An investigation revealed that Peters also robbed a Royal Farms store in Harford County and another Royal Farms in Howard County.

Peters has not yet been served warrants from the other jurisdictions.

The first robbery occurred just before 1 a.m. on May 24, according to police. Peters walked into a Royal Farms on the 7200 block of York Road and displayed a handgun, demanding that the clerk open the register. Police said Peters left with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes.

Baltimore County Police Department, Baltimore City Police Department, Harford County Sheriff’s Office, Howard County Police Department and the FBI Baltimore Violent Crimes task Force all worked together to identify the suspect.
