A man has been charged in connection with a shooting in Owings Mills last month that injured another man, Baltimore County Police said.

Kyree Trimon Greene, 18, of the 2600 block of Francis Street, has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and related charges. He is being held without bail, and was returned to Baltimore City where he had been held on an unrelated charge.

Just before 8 p.m. on July 17, officers were called to the intersection of Reisterstown Road and Pleasant Ridge Drive for an assault.

They found a 42-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the lower body. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

The man was driving on Pleasant Ridge Drive when another car drove past him and then made a U-turn.

Police said the man got out of his car to confront Greene, the other driver, and Greene fired several shots at him.

An investigation continues.
