WHITE MARSH, Md. (WMAR) -
Baltimore County Police have arrested and charged Rasean Penix with the shooting of a 23-year-old man and his 4-year-old daughter.
Both victims were found to have been shot on April 8 while sitting in a vehicle at the intersection of Old Home and Meadow Road in White Marsh. Both were treated and released at a local hospital.
Police discovered that the victim and Penix were talking on the phone and agreed to meet at the location. When the victim and his daughter arrived, Penix approached the vehicle and displayed a gun.
Penix then demanded money from the victim, and then fired a shot, which hit the man in the hand and his daughter in her legs.
Penix has been charged with two counts of attempted murder and related charges. He is currently being held without bail.
