Police have charged a man in connection to an August attack on a woman walking her dog in Parkville.
Police arrested Malik Roberts and charged him with robbery and related charges. He is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
On August 1, a 26-year-old woman was walking her dog near Double Rock Park when Roberts appeared and began to pet her dog. He then grabbed her dog and demanded money. When she offered her cell phone in exchange for the dog, he hit her on the head with an unknown object. He fled without taking anything.
The woman was treated and released from the hospital.
