A 29-year-old man has been indicted in the August hit-and-run crash that killed Keith Curtis Tawney, 23, Baltimore County Police said.
Police said Daniel Earl Lawrence of Essex was arrested Sunday night, and is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
Lawrence has been charged with failure to immediately stop vehicle at scene of accident involving death, failure to immediately return and remain at scene of accident involving death and failure to stop at scene of accident resulting in death.
Tawney was killed just before 1 a.m. on Aug. 23, when he was hit by a car while he was walking on North Point Boulevard. The driver left the area.
He died at the scene.
