A Baltimore man admitted that he robbed ten stores over a period of three weeks in 2014, sometimes hitting different places two or three times a day.
Michael Toliver, 40, pleaded guilty to robbery on May 19.
Dubbed a "serial armed robber," Toliver and his associate robbed businesses in Baltimore and Howard County at gunpoint. He would often be responsible for threatening employees with a gun and demanding money, while codefendant Marcus Gray acted as the lookout.
Police identified Toliver through video surveillance and arrested him on June 4, 2014. When they had previously searched his car, the officers discovered a handgun and ammunition, a BB gun, a SWAT vest and gloves.
If the Court accepts Toliver's plea agreement, he will serve 15 years in prison. The sentencing will take place August 25.
As for Toliver's associate Marcus Gray, he has already pleaded guilty to participating in the robberies and is waiting on a sentence.
