Four people charged in robbery, stabbing of pizza deliveryman in Essex

ESSEX, Md. - Baltimore County Police have charged four people in connection with a robbery and stabbing of a pizza deliveryman on Monday in Essex.

All four people are charged with attempted first-degree murder, robbery and first-degree assault and are being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

Police said the following men have been charged in the incident

  • Raquawn Montrel Harrison, 18, of the 900 block of Holgate Drive.
  • Jonathan Richard Fly, 19, of the 5200 block of King Ave.
  • Michael Frederick Powell, 17, of the unit block of Helmsman Court.
  • Davonte Montrell Eckeard, 16, of the 1400 block of Hadwick Drive..

Powell and Eckeard have been charged as adults in the case, in which police said the 20-year-old victim was stabbed and robbed of his personal property as he was attempting to make a delivery to the 1100 block of Tace Drive. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
