The suspected driver in a hit-and-run accident in Dundalk last week that injured a 13-year-old girl has been identified, Baltimore County Police said.
Charges are pending, police said.
The accident happened last Thursday, when the teen was crossing Holabird Avenue near Searles Road. She was struck by a red Mercedes that left the area, though several witnesses tried to prevent the driver from leaving the scene.
The child was transported by county Fire Department personnel to Johns Hopkins Children Center for treatment. She is in stable condition and is expected to survive her injuries.
