Baltimore County police need help in solving Owings Mills street robbery

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Baltimore County police are seeking assistance in helping solve an Owings Mills street robbery.

Police said at 10:54 p.m. on Feb. 1, police responded to the unit block of Straw Hat Road for a report of a robbery.

Police said a 40-year-old man was in front of his apartment building when he was approached by two suspects. They pushed him down and kicked him in the head. The suspects took the victim’s wallet  and $700 before fleeing the scene.

The suspects are described as black males between the ages of 20 and 29. Police said one was short and stocky with a gray and white striped shirt. The other suspect was taller and wore all dark clothing. The suspects were later caught on video surveillance  at a nearby gas station.

The victim received minor injuries during the robbery, but did not need to go to a medical facility, police said..
