GWYNN OAK, Md. - Baltimore County police arrested two men suspected of firing gunshots in a Gwynn Oak neighborhood Thursday evening, the department announced in a release.
Officers were dispatched to the 6800 block of Townbrook Drive at around 7:24 p.m. after someone heard shots fired in the neighborhood.
"The police investigation revealed that suspects in a dark colored vehicle were possibly responsible for shooting at an unknown victim who was last seen running away from the scene toward Windsor Blvd,
the release states. "Police were also able to locate shell casings at the scene."
Police found the suspects' car after a brief search of the area. Officers unsuccessfully tried to stop the vehicle. The suspects took off attempting to elude police.
"A brief pursuit ensued and with the assistance of the Baltimore County Police helicopter, the two unidentified male suspects were arrested in the area of the Eastridge Road and Huntington Drive, 21207," the release states. "Police recovered a handgun from the vehicle. The suspects have been transported back to the Woodlawn Precinct where they will be charged."
The suspects were not identified Thursday night.
