BALTIMORE - The first two cases started at the corner of Ingleside and Edmonson in Catonsville.
Two teenagers, one in late September, the other yesterday, were abducted from the bus stop, held at gun point and sexually assaulted.
"It's very traumatic to me and it's also very scary that you can't stand on a street corner to get a bus and not feel safe."
Linda Nider manages the Lime Light Inn across the street from where county police say the two suspects snatched their victims.
Nider keeps a close eye on the area and remembers seeing a suspicious car illegally parked at what she says is a busy bus stop for area colleges.
"You see a lot of students standing on the corner as well as nurses from the area nursing home," said Nider.
Which may have been the abductors M-O because just last night, another abduction near another MTA bus stop in the 2500 hundred block of Liberty Heights Road in Baltimore city.
City police say a woman and man were abducted there at gunpoint, the male victim was able to flee the car just a few minutes away near Greenspring and Druid Park Drive, but the woman was robbed then released; the case too similar to the prior two for both jurisdictions to ignore.
"We are working very closely with Baltimore city police department, this has been an extensive investigation," said Baltimore County Corporal Cathy Batton.
It was that cooperation that resulted in the arrest of the two suspects later last night, the city case yielding a lead on the vehicle they used to abduct at least three and sexually assault two women.
"Baltimore city detectives were able to get a partial tag, detectives from both jurisdictions began to work together investigating these incidents. They were able to identify the owner of the vehicle used and connect one of the suspects to the owner," said Batton.
At least one of those suspects should go before a judge this evening on several charges.
Baltimore County Police are investigating the possibility there are more abduction and sexual assault cases by the two suspects.
