PERRY HALL, Md. - The most recent armed robbery happened at AMS Liquor World in the 9600 block of Belair Road.
Baltimore County Police say just after noon on Saturday, a man with a knife threatened the store owner who then fired several shots. The suspect got away unharmed.
Police arrested 26-year-old Scott Hundertmark who claimed he was forced against his will to drive the get-away vehicle but later admitted to his involvement.
Just a day earlier, police say a suspect threatened an employee with a weapon at the Rite Aid in the 9700 block of Belair Rd.
Justin Grossman knows someone who was working at the time.
"I heard a gentleman came in, went and demanded Percocet from the back and money," said Grossman.
Police located the suspect's car about 45 minutes later and arrested a man. But tonight, there's no word on if he will be charged.
Dennis Robinson leads the Perry Hall Improvement Association.
"Instead of being concerned, I think it should cause us to be more vigilant. There's a lot of things that we can do to help look out for each other and to help police solve crimes," said Robinson.
The armed robberies started on Thursday at the Tobacco Stop store at the Perry Hall Square Shopping Center. Police say a man entered with a weapon.
Sean Tyler says he knows the female employee who went along with the robber's demands.
"Apparently, an assailant came in and brandished a weapon that was tucked into his waist and told her to give over the money and whatever else. And I think he made off with a few dollars and a couple cartons of cigarettes," said Tyler.
Hundertmark has been charged with attempted armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Several others could be arrested.
Also, there is a community meeting in Perry Hall with Baltimore County police on November 10th at 7:30 at the library. The meeting was previously scheduled.
