Two boys were not charged after damaging Christmas decorations at an Essex home, Baltimore County Police said.
The two, ages 4 and 6, were caught damaging the decorations in the 600 block of Delaware Avenue late afternoon on Dec. 5.
The homeowner told police he knew the boys and didn't want to get them into trouble, but wanted to be reimbursed for damages. The boys' mother was notified.
No one was charged, because people under the age of seven can't be charged in Maryland with a crime, police said.
