The boy was charged with arson, reckless endangerment and malicious burning. The fires caused a store-wide evacuation just after 11 a.m. at a Walmart location in the 3600 block of Washington Boulevard.

One store employee was treated for minor smoke inhalation.

An estimated $10,000 in property was destroyed as a result, including perishable food items.
