The youngest suspect in the murder trial of a teenage girl has been found not guilty of the most serious charges in the case.

Rivers, who was 14 at the time of Arnesha Bowers' murder in 2015, was found guilty of robbery. He was acquitted on charges of felony murder, burglary, conspiracy to burgle and conspiracy to commit felony robbery.
He will be sentenced on July 6.
In December a jury returned a partial verdict and found Rivers not guilty of premeditated murder, conspiracy to murder, arson, burglary with intent to commit crime of violence, false imprisonment, conspiracy robbery and robbery with a deadly weapon. Jurors were unable to reach a unanimous decisions on the other charges.
Arnesha Bowers was found dead in her grandmother's home on June 7. Police said she was kidnapped, raped, and her genitals set on fire to destroy evidence of the assault. Investigators said the culprits then set on the home on fire -- all carried out as part of a "gang initiation."
Co-defendants John Childs and Adonay Dixon both pleaded guilty.
