BALTIMORE, Md. - There were two separate nonfatal shootings Friday night in Baltimore.
Just after 10 p.m., an on patrol officer was approached at the intersection of Baltimore Street and Hilton Street by a 31-year-old man that had been shot in the face. After being transported to an area hospital, he told investigators he was inside his home on N. Hilton Street, when he was shot in the face by an unknown person. The victim is being treated and is expected to survive.
About an hour later, at 11:08 p.m., police were called to the 5300 block of Denmore Avenue for a reported shooting. When they got there, they found a 28-year-old man shot in the leg. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
