BALTIMORE - Two people were killed and three were shot in the last 24 hours, according to Baltimore City Police.
The first homicide occurred just after 11:23 p.m. in the 2200 block of Brookfield Ave. Officers came to the scene and found Dale Webb, 34, dead from multiple gunshot wounds.
Just after midnight, police also responded to the 3700 block of Reisterstown Road to find Chealyn Mitchell, 27, of Forest Park Drive, dead from a gunshot wound to the torso.
Mitchell was transported to an area hospital for treatment, but was pronounced dead at 12:42 a.m.
Police are investigating both incidents and have made no arrests.
In addition to the homicides, investigations are also underway for three separate shooting incidents.
The first occurred just after 2 p.m. at the 4200 block of Frederick Avenue. The victim was stabbed and is in stable condition.
At 11 p.m., officers responded to the 800 block of Bethune Road for a report of a shooting. The adult male victim was located with a gunshot wound to his head. He was transported to an area hospital where his injury has been determined to be non-life threatening.
Ten minutes earlier, an officer was approached in the 1100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue by a man who reported that he had just been shot. The victim was suffering from a gunshot wound to his arm. He was transported to an area hospital where he is undergoing surgery.
