BALTIMORE - City police are investigating two armed robbery attempts that ended with the victim getting shot in southeast Baltimore.
Police in southeast Baltimore responded at 12:07 a.m. Wednesday to an area hospital for a walk-in shooting victim. When officers arrived, they found a 24-year-old man suffering from a single gunshot wound to his left leg. The victim was treated and is currently listed in stable condition.
Police said the victim was walking in the 1300 Block of E. Fayette St. when he was confronted by an unknown male who attempted to rob him at gunpoint. The victim attempted to run from the suspect when he was shot in the left leg.
In the other case, at about 10:38 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the 500 block of Loneys Lane for a report of a shooting.
Police said a 25-year old man was shot multiple times after he was confronted by an unknown male who attempted to rob him at gunpoint. A struggle ensued and the victim was shot multiple times by the male. The suspect then fled the location in an unknown direction.
The victim is listed in stable condition.
