Police are searching for three suspects wanted for the murder of a man and the shooting of two others including an infant.

Around 3:05 p.m. Saturday afternoon, police were called to the 2800 block of Keyworth Avenue for a reported shooting.

Upon arriving, officers found an adult man who had been shot in the chest as well as a 10-month-old infant suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

Both victims were transported to area hospitals for treatment. The infant is expected to survive police said.

The man, identified as 37 year-old Derrick Hickman of the 1500 block of Northbend Street, was transported to Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Detectives learned at the scene the victims were sitting on a porch at the location when three suspects approached on foot and began firing in the victim’s direction.

Police say the suspects fled westbound on foot. While fleeing the suspects saw a potential witness sitting in a vehicle and began opening fire on that individual as well.

The third victim, a woman, was hit in the shoulder. She is expected to survive.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Homicide detectives, at 410-396-2100.
