Halloween may be over, but it appears that 3:00 a.m. was a "witching hour" of sorts on Sunday morning, with three separate shootings in a matter of six minutes.
The shootings spanned the city with the first happening around 3:10 a.m. when a 24-year-old man walked into a Northwest Baltimore hospital with a gunshot wound to his back. The man told police he was shot in the 2800 block of Edgecombe Circle South.
Just two minutes later Northwest district officers were called to the 2800 block of Roslyn Avenue in the Garwyn-Oaks neighborhood. When officers arrived they found a 23-year-old man who was shot in the arm.
At 3:16 a.m. officers were called to another hospital—this time in East Baltimore—for a walk in shooting victim. The twenty-one year old man told police he was shot in the arm in the 2300 block of Evergreen Street in West Baltimore.
Police are investigating all three incidents.
