BALTIMORE (WMAR) - Baltimore City Homicide Detectives are keeping busy following five deaths from weekend violence.
The latest reported death happened on Sunday just after 6:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of Walbrook Avenue. Police say the 32-year-old male victim was shot several times and pronounced dead at Shock Trauma. Detectives are working to figure out who shot him.
A little over an hour before the deadly shooting on Walbrook Avenue, police responded to calls of a stabbing in the 3100 block of Milford Avenue.
When police arrived on the scene, they found a 34-year-old male victim suffering from stab wounds to his abdomen. Police report that the suspect fled the scene, and the victim died at Sinai Hospital.
Saturday around 9:00 p.m. police said they found a man in the 1800 block of Presbury Street who had been shot several times in the head and torso. He was taken to Shock Trauma where he died at 9:55 p.m. Police have no motives or suspects in the death.
Police reported two additional deaths in East Baltimore on Saturday morning.
A man died at Shock Trauma just before 7:30 a.m., according to authorities. Police found him in the 1100 block of Barclay Street just before 5 a.m. He had been shot several times in the upper torso.
Police found another victim in a car in the 300 block of E. 23 rd Street around 7:30 a.m. He had been shot in the head and torso. Police said he died around 7:50 a.m.
Police have not released the names of any of the victims.
