BALTIMORE (WMAR) -
A Baltimore City jury has convicted Alton Teel for the murder of Daniel Savage for the second time.
On February 21, 2007, officers and medics responded to the 1500 block of North Bradford Street and found Savage lying in the street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Savage later died of his injuries.
Teel was first convicted for the crime in April 2008, however, the judgment was vacated in 2011 as a result of a voire dire issue and remanded for further proceedings.
On February 15, a second jury found Teel guilty of second degree murder and use of a handgun in a crime of violence.
Teel, 48, faces a maximum sentence of 50 years in prison.
